Raised in the great Midwest, Pattie Lee spent her childhood surrounded by prairie and open sky. After graduating from Rhode Island School of Design, she moved her studio to Brooklyn, NY, where she developed her practice for a decade before relocating to the Rocky Mountains. She holds an MFA from Columbia University’s School of the Arts. As an established fine artist and educator, she combines her expertise in art and design to create captivating drawings, sculptures, and prints. With a deep love for tactile expression, repeat patterns, and vibrant colors, her reflective and often humorous work explores the tapestry of human experience. As an educator, Pattie Lee inspires students with encouragement and compassion, fostering confidence and exploration. Committed to enriching communities, she shares her passion for creativity, infusing fresh perspectives into the artistic landscape.
